Each wave of the project is conducted with telephone interviews with the help of Computer Aided Telephone Interviewing software. Four waves are conducted per year. For tracking purposes, for each past year results are shown in terms of total interviews conducted for that year (4 waves). Non-annotated results are from the most recent wave published, which was conducted in March 2018.
Eligible to participate in the study are permanent residents in the areas under the control of the Republic of Cyprus, aged between 18 and 65.
The project is Pancyprian, covering all areas under the control of the Republic of Cyprus. Quotas are set by area in order to achieve a sample that is in-line with the distribution of the target population. A total of 500 interviews is conducted per wave.
The selection of respondents is conducted at random from a database compiled using random seed numbering. The database consists of 40% mobile numbers and 60% fixed telephone numbers.
The results are weighted by age and sex.
